It's becoming quite clear that the Hawks aren't just chirping; they're ready to swoop.
But let's not forget about the Mavericks. Texas, here we come. Naji Marshall's been making it rain with an impressive 19.8 points per game last month. P.J. Washington Jr.'s looking sharp too, contributing a healthy 19.1 points per game. With Anthony Davis acting as the team's solid backbone - let's face it, just look at his stats from last seasons, a whopping 24.8 points per game and 11.5 rebounds per game - the Mavs are a real showdown expected from the Lone Star State.
Looking at past matchups, the Mavericks generally have had the upper hand, muscling out the Hawks in most of their previous games. But don't let that fool you. History isn't always doomed to repeat itself, and the Hawks have shown they know how to jab and weave.
