Now let's chat about this Jazz-Hornets shindig. I'd have to say it's nothing short of an epic clash between a rock and a hard place or, you know, two basketball clubs with a knack for misplacing the win column. Put it in layman's terms: who could out-lose each other is the real challenge here.
Over at the Jazz, John Collins has been belting out sweet tunes recently, with an impressive 26.3 points per game along with 9.7 rebounds per game last month. Kyle Filipowski, been hitting a softer note with 14.9 points per game and 7.8 rebounds per game. Keyonte George seems to be just humming along with 16.0 points per game, a descent from his typical rhythm this season.
Now, observe the Hornets. LaMelo Ball is the bee's knees—quite literally. That kid oozes talent, putting up an impressive 21.5 points per game and dishing out 8.2 assists last month. Miles Bridges isn't far off either with a consistent 22.4 points per game. Mark Williams is the sting in the tail with a nice run of 15.9 points and pulling down 11.3 rebounds per game last month.
You'd only need one hand to count the wins these two have between them in their past five games. But, hey, someone's got to win, right? If we look back in the annals of time - or you know, the last few years - it's been tit for tat, with the home side taking the win most often.
Our prediction is not exactly rocket science. The Jazz have hit a minor key in recent times but have resonated better against their Hornets counterpart historically. In a game like this, the home court disadvantage seems like a genuine thing - seriously, who'd have thought? However, the Jazz should have just enough harmony to pull off a surprise encore.
