Los Angeles FC by 2We're headed for a clash of titans here folks, Los Angeles FC versus Seattle Sounders FC. Swooping in with the fancy gloves for Los Angeles, we've got Hugo Lloris. Sure, he doesn't have the best rating comparative to some others, but who cares about numbers when he probably looks stunning while making those 6 saves this season, right?
On the other side of the field, we have feather-adorned Stefan Frei standing tall for Seattle. I mean, 7.95 rating and 7 saves? Now that's just showing off.
Seattle's top players are a bit quiet on the goals front, but it seems to be a family affair with Cristian Roldán and Alex Roldán strutting onto the scene. Not the highest scores out there, but who needs goals when you can pass the ball around stylishly, right?
Other notable players include Jackson Ragen and Georgi Minoungou who appear to be on the team mainly because they appreciate a good pass like it's fine wine.
Moving towards sunny LA, we've got some top-notch players that pull out all the stops. Hello Mateusz Bogusz and Denis Bouanga. This lethal twosome seems to have an affinity for not only hitting the network but also keeping the ball moving.
Taking a look at the history between these two teams, we can see a big fat zero on the Seattle side for the last five games. Even an obnoxious commentator like me can't spin that one into a positive.
Moreover, Los Angeles also comes in boasting a better regular season record. Their recent results, albeit inconsistent, look somewhat reliable. Especially that last win against Vancouver. Gritty stuff.
On the other hand, Seattle seems to be just barely holding on with their recent three draw streak. Someone needs to remind them soccer isn't just about sharing the ball, but having control over it too.
Get ready for those bets, because this one looks like another win in the bag for Los Angeles. But knowing soccer, there is always room for surprises and slip-ups... Or should we call them 'accidental tactical acrobatics'?
