Orlando City SC by 2Ladies and gentlemen, we're looking into a veritable David vs Goliath scenario for the upcoming fight in field between Orlando City SC and CF Montreal. It looks like everyone's favorite team, Orlando City SC, has a slight edge over CF Montreal based purely on numbers.
Orlando relies heavily on the gloves of Pedro Gallese who despite his humble save count, has shown great poise under the bar. Montreal's last line of defense, Jonathan Sirois, has managed to keep more balls out of the net, but his team still lacks the suitable firepower to back him up.
CF Montreal would definitely appreciate a little more contribution from their top guns. When it comes to goal scoring, Prince-Osei Owusu seems to be the only one finding the net. His seven shots on goal being a ray of hope in the sea of zeroes, and of course, one cannot simply ignore what Jalen Neal brings into the game with his passing.
On the other side, everything is looking rosy in the camp of Orlando City SC. Martín Ojeda has had a fairly strong season, but it's Marco Pašalić who has been lighting up the stage with his four goals and clever ball distribution. Even Ramiro Enrique is showing enough grit and determination not to lag too far behind.
If history has to be the judge for this one, then Orlando with its two victories and a couple of draws quite literally draw the bigger picture. Montreal may argue about their draw back in 2025, but their lesser wins in the recent season might not do them any favors.
