FC Cincinnati by 1Ah, the timeless matchup of FC Cincinnati vs Columbus Crew. Now, isn't that a fine bowl of spicy chili?
In the green corner, we have the Crew with the goalie Evan Bush. A solid player with a 6.75 rating and 4 saves this season. Not too shabby, Evan. Their top players seem to be raring to go, with Diego Rossi showing a strong performance with 2 goals and Marcelo Herrera not too far behind. Let's not forget Dylan Chambost, who may not have any goals but has an impressive accurate pass rating.
Now, on the other hand, we have the orange and blue of FC Cincinnati. They've brought Roman Celentano to guard their goal, a lad who is absolutely on fire with a 7.10 rating and a whopping 12 saves. Tremendous performance there. Their players Evander and Luca Orellano seem to have discovered the art of being everywhere at once, what with Evander having 5 goals and Luca showing an impressive pass accuracy.
Looking back in time, these teams have had some closely contested battles. Although in the last five matchups, FC Cincinnati has the edge over Columbus Crew. And seems like FC Cincinnati has a slightly better regular season record.
Consider their recent performances as well. Cincinnati's been on a winning streak while Columbus has been solid, though they slumped a bit against Inter Miami CF.
Taking all these factors into account, makes me lean towards Cincinnati but it might not be an expedition.
