San Francisco Giants by 2And, here we go! The San Francisco Giants will be going from the Golden State to the Grand Canyon State, facing the Arizona Diamondbacks. They are settling into Chase Field, a playing turf known for providing a solid platform for the gritty hitters.
Opening for the Giants is the seasoned Robbie Ray, who's put a commendable show this term. The man's ERA is a sparkling 2.75, backed with an impressive WHIP of 1.15 and an average of 10.1 K's-per-nine. Believe me, ladies and gentlemen, that's not the kind of brew you want to sip if you're waiting with your bat on the other side.
Now here's a mixed note; the Giants bring on stage some serious firepower in Christian Koss and Dominic Smith. Koss, in particular, has been lighting up the scoreboard hitting at an average of 0.353. But hey! Don't look past Smith and Willy Adames as well... those boys can go long any day of the week!
For the Diamondbacks, Brandon Pfaadt will be the guardian of the mound. But he better brace himself, his ERA of 5.38 and WHIP of 1.39 aren't exactly numbers that will be intimidating the Giants. Still, the game of baseball is full of surprises, ain't it?
