Misolic in 3 setsAh, the Swedish delight - the Swedish Open. Now, we're watching as two talented players are ready to cross racquets on the court. First, we have the commendable Nuno Borges, seed number 3, showing some nice resilience recently. Sure, he's had a couple of stumbles but, remember, what doesn't kill you usually makes you grumpier. On the other hand, we have the equally formidable Filip Misolic, unseeded yet with an interesting recent winning streak to his credit. Misolic has been bit of a whirlwind on the court lately, despite having a gut punch loss from Struff.
Now, here's a peculiar matchup. We've got Borges, a player high in seed and predictably favored, but having a few hiccups in his past results against Misolic, the dark horse, unseeded but flowing with recent successes. The unflappable bookies sure put their money on Borges, but my eye is catching this streak of Misolic. Pouring over recent results, and a cup of overpriced stadium coffee, one might say that Misolic seems to be the man of the moment.
