Gear up for an intense head-to-head where Francisco Cerundolo, our unseeded contender, takes on the titan of tennis, Mr. Numero-Dos himself, Carlos Alcaraz in the upcoming Rolex Monte Carlo Masters.
Yes, Cerundolo took Fognini F. to school recently with a clean sweep of 2 sets to love, but let's not overlook the fact that he's been having a spot of bother against high-octane bellwethers like Dimitrov G. However, his performances, especially the straight-set victories over Ruud C., Paul T., and Muller A., surely suggest a glimpse of his determination for the game.
But then comes the C-bomb. Carlos Alcaraz, placed lovingly at seed number 2, has shown himself to reside in a different dimension altogether.
