Zverev in straight sets.We've got a riveting head-to-head here between Alexander Zverev and the unseeded Tallon Griekspoor. Now, based on recent figures lighter than a tennis ball on the moon, Zverev comes in as the tournament's favorite child, the numero uno seed, if you will. Meanwhile, Griekspoor is, well, let's just say he's still waiting for his seeding number... perhaps in the mail?
Alright, let's rewind a bit. Looking at past tennis waltzes between these two, Zverev has been doing some serious dancing, taking victories in four out of the five recent dance-offs. However, give credit where credit's due, Griekspoor did snatch a win, but only after Zverev generously offered him five opportunities.
Moving on to the recent performance. Griekspoor has had his share of wins, but also a couple of sightseeing trips, landing on the wrong side of the net. Zverev, though, he's been waltzing on a tad more consistently, taking the lion's share, despite having an encounter with Berrettini's fist of fury.
Taking the field, their recent forms, and silently acknowledging the mysterious powers of unidentified data, it looks like Zverev and his unyielding backhand are projected to outpace Griekspoor.
