Comesana in 3 sets. Love the nerve of the guy, pun totally intended!You can put away your abacus. I can bet my sock collection that this match is going to be a veritable humdinger. On one side we have the resilient superstar, Roberto Bautista Agut, who's been as unpredictable as teenager's mood swings. One moment he's savoring victory; the next, he's tasting the bitterness of defeat. But that's tennis, right?
Then we have the unseeded gem, Francisco Comesana, who seems to be serving surprises with a side of tight backhands as if they were at his Sunday family dinner. We've seen him defeat Klizan M. and shrug off defeats like they're just flies at the barbecue.
Bautista Agut is the fifth seed and Comesana being unseeded isn't something to brush off like lint on a sweater. However, just like a teabag, you never know the strength until it's in hot water.
With all said and done, given the payout expectations, I see Francisco Comesana stepping up to the challenge. Agut might be a beast at rallies and he sure can give us a good run for our money, but come on...who doesn't fancy a good underdog story every once in a while?
