Hawthorn Hawks by 19Looking at their regular season records, Hawthorn holds a commanding lead with 10 victories to their name against just 5 for St Kilda. Dare I say it? The record books seem to be doing the talking here.
And what's more, recent results reveal a stark contrast. The Hawks' talons have been razor sharp against teams like North Melbourne and Adelaide. On the flip side, the 'poor' Saints haven’t been performing any miracles on the field lately, losing to Collingwood and Western. Saintly intervention seems to be sorely needed.
Now, if one were to recall previous clashes, last time St Kilda faced Hawthorn it wasn't exactly a kick in the park for the Ville boys. Sure, they've had their moments, but their Victoria rivals have dominated the better part of the fray.
With Hawthorn flying high in 5th on the standings and St Kilda inching towards the edge of the precipice at 15th... well, you don't need to be a wizard to figure this one out.
