Brisbane Lions by 29Isn't this just a delightful little meeting between the powerhouse Brisbane Lions, who haven't just been roaring but practically screaming at the top of their lungs this season and the //ehm// a slightly troubled Port Adelaide Power, whose power supply seems to have experienced a few hiccups lately.
Our tracksuited gladiators here have shaken their tail feathers against each other a fair number of times in the past, and let's be honest, it wasn't always an episode of Sesame Street. Brace yourselves for some quick mathematics, shall we? In their last three encounters, the Lions have come out on top twice and by what I might add, a rather jaw-dropping margin.
However, let's not forget, this is not a samba lesson but good old Aussie rules footy, unpredictable as the weather. Port Adelaide Power has certainly had its sparking moments, though intermittently. The inconsistent surge on their part accents the shaky win-loss ratio of 7-8. On the flip side, our toothy pride over in Brisbane is dealing in double digit wins already at 10-4-1.
