Cristian in 3 setsForget about enjoying your popcorn folks, you'll be too on the edge of your set for that. We're staring down at a quarterfinal match at the Iași Open, with Panna Udvardy challenging Jaqueline Cristian. Jaqueline Cristian has a run to maintain, slinging an ace of a winning streak in her last games, even if Sönmez Z., gave her a bit of a tripping hazard along the way. But watch out, her tournament seeding is like a secret weapon with hidden ammo - she's got the Number 2 seed in her artillery.
Udvardy, on the other hand, is no backseat player padding up her coups as the underdog unseeded. She'd throw in a quick "love" followed by her high-powered smashes, keeping her recent adversaries on their toes. Jones and Rouvroy tasted defeat in her razor sharp serves earlier this month.
