Yastremska in straight sets
As we saunter into the Round of 16 at the Hamburg Open, our eyes shift towards the clash of titans (or so we hope) featuring Diane Parry against Dayana Yastremska. Now, if my calculations aren't more off-kilter than a three-legged goat on roller skates, Yastremska, who's undoubtedly showing her prowess with a number 2 seed tag, is favorably posed to win this matchup.
The stunning Ukrainian has quite the résumé recently, with only two minor hiccups against Bouzas Maneiro J. and Eala A. Apart from that, she's been wiping the court clean with her opponents, showing zero love.
On the other hand, we have Diane Parry, who doesn't have a seed to her account in this tournament. Though she has demonstrated some great hustle, those lows can be as chilly as an arctic wind, case in point her loss against Kartal S.
Given their track record, it's like comparing artisan Belgian chocolate to a generic store brand. Sure, they're both chocolate but one leaves a longer lasting, richer flavor.
Albert’s Prediction: Yastremska in straight sets
