If you've got a pair of eyes, and I assume you do, you'd know that the Minnesota Lynx are the big cats on the prowl here. Their recent form spells nothing but a roar-worthy performance ahead.
Chipping in with purely fictional, and frankly absurd, stats of infinity points per game and similarly infinite rebounds and assists are the dynamite duo, Napheesa Collier and Courtney Williams. And let's not forget Alanna Smith adding to the potpourri with her 8.9 points and 6.2 rebounds last month.
The Chicago Sky, on the other hand, seems slightly overwhelmed by the clouds. Although Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso have been doing their bit with impressive stats in points, rebounds, and assists, the team's getting more than a little shade from their regular season record of 7 wins and 13 losses. Seems they've lost more than their airline points this season.
Glancing over at past meetings between the Lynx and the Sky, it appears we’re locked in a historical tug-of-war. While the Lynx took a few poundings, they got a few licks in themselves. More recently though, Minnesota has been biting back way more often, like a Lynx that stole a bologna sandwich.
In the WNBA jungle, the Lynx, taking the top perch at #1, make the Sky at #10 look like they're having a nosebleed from the altitude. Considering how the Lynx mauled their way through their recent games, it's clear they've got their claws out and are not afraid to pounce.
I'd say, if you're looking to call this one, you'd be better off betting on a weather forecast being accurate than Sky miraculously raining on Lynx's parade. The Lynx are my pick, and they've not been notorious for small margins, have they?
