Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks by 2
Ah, the Hiroshima Carp swimming into the Hawk's nest in Fukuoka. Now, if we're talking sushi, I'd say Carp has the advantage, but this is baseball folks - and I'm supposed to be insightful here. Hiroshima seems to be swinging the bat about as well as a sumo wrestler runs the marathon, and they've been having some trouble scratching up runs against these Hawks. You remember those games back in late May? Yeah, those were a couple of tough losses, and Hiroshima is probably still smarting from them.
Meanwhile, the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks have been soaring high and whoo-boy, can they field. I mean, talk about wall-to-wall resistance prevent the score. They've got the Carps' number down packed like digits on a business card. Plus, they've been having a better run in the regular season. Seems like they only lose when they're facing off against this Erik Barnes character - and last I checked, he ain't no fish.
Now look, I ain't no fortune teller, but if I were to peg a score here - well, let's just say the Carp might want to bring extra tissues.
