Chiba Lotte Marines by 2If you wonder about baseball and potential impossibility of prediction, just consider this. We are looking at a Chiba Lotte Marines visit to Chunichi Dragons, folks, and it's as promising as a rain dance in the Sahara. Bear with me.
Now, the Marines seem to be the favorites when we consider their past dance-offs against the Dragons. Sure, there was that small hiccup on the 6th of June where the Dragons somehow squeezed a victory by one run but the Marines have often kept the Dragons off balance with their game. I remember telling my granny that and she asked me to better shovel her driveway. Good times.
However, it's important to note that the regular season records illuminate a gloomy picture for fans of both sides. The Chiba lotte marines seem to be enjoying a losing streak with 19 wins and 32 losses while the Chunichi Dragons are barely holding onto their caps with 24 wins and 29 losses. But then again, who doesn’t love an underdog story? Unless it’s a cat person. They really don’t seem to care either way.
Moving onto recent results, Marines seem to have had a rough patch while the Dragons have been, well, still trying to find their flame. The Irony. Erik Barnes being the common denominator in the victories of both sides, has you wondering whether this guy wakes up feeling like Santa year-round or what?
Now I don't usually make rash predictions for baseball games, but I like to live dangerously. All things considered, it seems the Chiba Lotte Marines, despite their struggles, will manage to come on top. But hey, what do I know? Maybe chickens will start playing baseball soon.
