Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks by 3Ladies and gentlemen, we've got a classic David and Goliath story forming here between the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks and the Tokyo Yakult Swallows. Based on the tale of the tape, one might argue that this match could double as a nice distraction for insomniacs, but hey we get what we get.
The Hawks, they're sitting pretty, holding an admirable 28-25 record in contrast to the Swallows, who, let's just say, must have had a bird's eye view of the season as they plummeted to a 16-34 record - and no, that's not a typo.
The past clashes reveal a clear Hawks dominance. They won 3 out of their last 5 meet-ups, and these marginally good fellas don’t just win, they make a statement while doing so. As my dear grandma used to say, “a slight edge is still an edge”.
