Alright, here we are staring down the barrel of a Kings vs. 76ers clash, strapping in for what shall surely be a display of athletic mastery, or at the very least, a group of tall men bouncing a ball around. On the royal side of the equation, not-so-subtly carried by his highness Domantas Sabonis and his court jester De'Aaron Fox. Sabonis pulling in buckets and rebounds like they're going out of style, and Fox? Well, he's been zipping down the court his own fast-paced version of the fox trot, it seems.
Over yonder in the land of brotherly love, we have Joel Embiid slashing his way through the paint like Axel Foley in a banana factory. Not to be outshone we've got Tyrese Maxey, who's been making it rain so hard in Philly, even M. Knight Shyamalan might make a movie about it.
But alas, stray not from the path of common sense. Remember our past encounters, dear listener. When it comes to past skirmishes, it appears Sacramento has somewhat of an edge. The last four games stand 3-1 in favor of the Kings, not to mention their recent streak seems to have them galloping ahead while our friends in Philly seem more akin to riding a one-legged pony.
Now, I don't get the currency to jabber about standings or seasonal records, but eyeballing it, our good kings from Sacramento have been fairing a little bit better on the court.
So, sit down, strap in, hold onto your beer, and may the odds be ever in your favor. Or, you know, just be in favor of the Kings as I reckon they are.
Albert’s Prediction: Sacramento Kings by 7
