By the looks of it, we're in for a real nail-nibbler between the Chicago Bulls and the Boston Celtics tonight. The Bulls come with a mix of agile and explosive power, thanks to players such as Zach LaVine who's been averaging a head-turning 27.1 points per game in the past month. And then there's Nikola Vucevic, shooting hoops like there's no tomorrow, both in terms of points and rebounds - not bad for a big man in the city of wind.
On the other side of the court, we have the Boston Celtics, lording over with a far superior seaon record. Their knight in shining armor, Jayson Tatum, has been nothing short of phenomenal with a whopping season average of 26.9 points per game. Jaylen Brown adds to the Celtics' firepower with a fairly impressive track record this season himself.
If we peek into the chapter of history between these two teams, Boston seems to have brought the Bulls down to their knees more often with victories in most encounters. As much as Chicago has had its moments in recent games, Boston's recent close shave with Houston should keep them on their toes.
Standing tall at #2 in the Eastern Conference, Celtics clearly bear an upper hand, especially against the rather struggling Bulls, who are lagging at #10. All in all, coupling the Celtic's stronger standing, better record, and outstanding top players, I'd say the Bulls might have to fight a little harder to even fancy their chances tonight.
So then, my prediction folks:
