Atlanta Braves by 2Plunging into the deep end of this matchup, we have the Atlanta Braves taking a jaunt over to Nationals Park for a battle against the Washington Nationals. The Park may be no particular friend or foe to either team, seeming as unbiased as your very own commentator... scratch that, we both know that's a tall tale!
Now, the starting pitcher for the Braves is AJ Smith-Shawver, showing some good appearances this season with a 2.40 ERA and 1.28 WHIP. However, the Nats' starter, Trevor Williams, isn't living up to the competition with a 6.07 ERA and 1.57 WHIP. That's the kind of imbalance that could get a seesaw banned from the playground, folks.
Zoning in on the key players, the Braves offer us a hefty buffet with Drake Baldwin batting at a .457 average and Michael Harris II bringing home the most RBIs for the team.
