Zverev in straight sets.Let me set the stage for you. We’ve got a real David vs Goliath matchup on our hands with Alexander Zverev facing off against Alexandre Muller at the Hamburg Open Round of 16. I mean, you’d be forgiven for thinking this was a one-horse race, at first glance.
Why, you ask? Well, their previous head-to-heads give Zverev a comfortable 2-love lead. It seems like Muller's been scrambling to keep up - not an easy feat I must say when you’re trying to outrun a one-man tennis juggernaut like Zverev.
Speaking of juggernaut, let's slide over to recent performances. Muller's been mixed bag, to be fair. He's wrapped his racket grip around a few wins, but also took a couple of hits in the process. Zverev, on the other hand, has been steamrolling through opposition with all the subtlety of a rhinoceros on roller skates.
Factor in that Zverev is tournament's top seed and poor, unseeded Muller has a mountain to climb. Like scaling Mount Everest in flip-flops, folks.
Having said all that, my money's on Zverev to bulldoze his way through this one. And as for the margin, I’m willing to bet the farm it's gonna be straight sets.
