My Prediction
Ruud in straight sets.So our eyes and ears are on the Internazionali d'Italia! The gladiators stepping into the clay arena are Alexander Bublik and Casper Ruud. Bublik might call himself unseeded, but you have to remember, you don't need flowers to make a bouquet of aces.
Let's take a peep down memory lane, shall we? The scoreboard says Ruud's made a love-match of Bublik twice in the past. Not to mention, the man's on a hot streak, painting lines with his last five opponents. He's shown a fiery love of clay this season, knuckling down and not dropping a set in his last four matches. Sure, Bublik's served up some wins too, but with a touch of inconsistency that, in this game, could cost more than just an overpriced hoagie.
The question here is: can Bublik find a loophole in Ruud's backhand before he lobs his dreams out of the park? The guy's unseeded... it’s like expecting a lawn ornament flamingo to win the Kentucky Derby.
This isn't rocket science, folks. The numbers speak louder than my mother-in-law.
