Let’s dissect this a little, shall we? On the surface, Sebastian Baez has the upper hand, seated comfortably at a tournament seed of 32. Kopriva, on the other hand, is unseeded, which in my humble opinion, is just a mildly polite way of saying "good luck, pal!" But, as we've seen in the world of sports and especially tennis - luck is just the opening act.
Now coming to their recent performances, ah, Sebastian Baez has seen better days on the court. If we took a trip back memory lane, we'd find more fall-from-grace moments than reason to celebrate. Our dear Mr. Baez's had a series of painful defeats, winning only one of his last five matches. You'd think he was playing a never-ending game of musical chairs with those two-and-fro results against Džumhur D.
Now, entering the ring is Vit Kopriva, who’s been putting on quite the show recently. Despite a slight hiccup with Griekspoor T., he seems to be playing quite a pleasing symphony, securing wins in four of the last five matches.
