Alright ladies and gents, we got Laura Siegemund, the underdog du jour, stepping onto the court against our 6th seed, Madison Keys. Now, I like Siegemund, she's got a certain tenacity to her. Been putting up a good fight lately with 3 wins in her last 5 matches, two of which were clean sweeps. No love for her opponents there. However, Azarenka and Šrámková have managed to put a dampener on her winning streak, keeping her just short of perfect.
On the other end of dazzling Wimbledon lawn, you have Madison Keys. 6th seed and rightly so. She’s shown her worth, too, with 3 wins in her previous 5 matches, impressively knocking out Danilović and Ruse just recently. She's got that American spirit, doesn't she? A bit of a hiccup in her trajectory though, with Vondroušová and Maria getting the best of her.
This one's a bit of a toss-up, ladies and gents, but here's the gist: while Siegemund is delivering on the court, she's up against a wall with Keys. Our high-flying 6th seed has proven she's not going down without a fight. Pitting these two, I'd have to brace myself for a ferocious match.
So, who’s it gonna be?
Albert’s Prediction: Keys in 3 sets
