My Prediction
Brisbane Broncos by 11Ladies and gentlemen, we're in for quite the stomp and grind between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Brisbane Broncos! Just talking about it makes my coffee taste more potent. But let's chew the fat here.
Despite sifting through NRL history and trivia like a squirrel after an acorn, the numbers are as plain as a cheese sandwich. Both teams have had their moments when they danced the tango together. Although recent matches have favored our friends from Brisbane, our rabbit friends held their own and showed they can do more than just nibble at the scoreboard. We've seen a cheeky back and forth, which is a little like my ex-wife's mood swings.
But in rugby, my friends, it's not just about the past; it's also about your current game. And unfortunately for the Rabbitohs, their recent results have been a bit like my attempt at a vegan diet— a complete disaster. Match after match they've struggled more than a cat at a dog show, compared to the Broncos, whose form has been up and down more times than my Aunt’s knitting needles.
Oh, and we can't forget the current standings, can we? The Broncos are sitting pretty, ensconced at the number 5 spot while our Rabbitohs are skulking down there at 14, lower than my Uncle Cletus's tolerance for dairy products.
