St. Louis Blues are guarded by Jordan Binnington and Joel Hofer, while the Los Angeles Kings have Darcy Kuemper and David Rittich minding their net. Binnington's been lighting it up with a 90.3 save percentage from last month, while Kuemper's performance has been a bit less inspiring, at 87.2%.
Onto the boys making the magic on the ice, for the Blues, we've got Robert Thomas and Pavel Buchnevich leading the charge. There's something special about Robert Thomas, folks. This man delivered an impressive 16 goals and 34 assists this season. Quinton Byfield and Kevin Fiala are the Kings' pride and joy, with Fiala rocking an impressive 24 goals this season even if his plus-minus isn't exactly something to write home to mom about.
Looking at the history books, it's clear the Blues have a slight edge when it comes to past face-offs. They've outskated the Kings in 4 of their last 5 games. Perhaps the LA Kings will use their home-ice advantage to flip the script this time.
