Minnesota Wild by 2Well, we're in for a doozy as the Minnesota Wild take on the St. Louis Blues. Now, between the nets, you can't overlook the standout performances from the Wild's goalkeepers. Filip Gustavsson with a saver percentage of 92.9% and Marc-Andre Fleury at 90.3% save percentage. In comparison, we have Jordan Binnington and Joel Hofer guarding the Blues' net with saving percentages of 88.7% and 89.3% respectively, which dear viewers, doesn't look too shabby either.
On the offense, we've got Top Players like Kirill Kaprizov and Matt Boldy for the Wild, really stirring the pot in the last month with 10 and 8 goals respectively, while in the Blues corner, Jordan Kyrou and Colton Parayko have been keeping quite busy, although trailing behind with 3 and 4 goals.
Now, if you look at their previous soirees, the Wild and the Blues appear to be playing ping-pong, going back and forth with the victories but Wild taking a slight edge. The regular season records bring forth a slightly brighter hue for the Wild with 11 wins compared to Blues' 8.
Of course, we're not forgetting the recent results. The Wild had a minor hiccup against Dallas but, hey, everybody slips on a banana peel sometimes. The Blues, on the other hand, stumbled more than a tightrope walker on a windy day.
Now, kids, if I've taught you anything, remember that prediction is a fickle art, like eating soup with a fork, but if I were pressed, I'd lean towards the Wilds, if for no reason other than their consistent goalkeeping and stronger performance history.
