New Orleans Pelicans by 7Let's slide into today's match-up, we've got the Utah Jazz jamming with the New Orleans Pelicans. New Orleans has been flapping their wings in subpar fashion, sitting uncomfortably snug at the bottom of the Western Conference despite some solid performances by Dejounte Murray and Trey Murphy III, who tossed in 25.7 points per game last month.
On the other side of the court, the Jazz have been playing their own somber tune. Despite sitting just one spot above the Pelicans in the standings, highlights have been few and far between. Still, there's some rhythm in the form of Collin Sexton and Lauri Markkanen. Markkanen, in particular, has had a resounding last month, averaging 22.4 points per game that makes a strong argument for why musical numbers might turn in Utah’s favor. However, recent past encounters between these two parties suggest a louder cheer for the Pelicans, with them winning most of the recent games.
