Oklahoma City Thunder by 11
Ladies and gentlemen, hold on to your brimmed hats as we get set for an absolute clash of titans in game 2 of what promises to be an exciting Conference Semifinals. The Denver Nuggets are going head to head with the Oklahoma City Thunder and it’s anybody's game at this point.
Let’s talk key contributors in this matchup; we cannot overlook the amazing stats of Denver’s star players, Nikola Jokić and Jamal Murray, who have been consistently good both during the playoffs and the season. And let’s tell it like it is, those guys have a habit of turning up when the stakes are at their highest. However, Oklahoma's pairing of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams are no joke. These gents have been scoring heavier than a sumo wrestler on a seesaw!
Now let’s look at the past, something I usually avoid doing on account of teenage memories. The previous games between these two have been a hot potato, no telling which way it’s going. Last five games? Nuggets won 3, Thunder took 2.
Now both teams are entering this game with the wind beneath their wings, making it much trickier to predict. Denver scored a win against the Thunder in their previous game, but overall, Oklahoma won more games in the regular season. Yeah, because that totally makes this easier to predict!
So, here's my two cents, which is about the only cents you’re going to get from me without having to visit me in person with a bottle of scotch. Given that Oklahoma City’s performance throughout the regular season was about as dominant as day-old coffee, I predict they’re going to show Denver the 'Thunder' they're known for.
Albert’s Prediction: Oklahoma City Thunder by 11.
