My Prediction
Tiafoe in 3 sets.Could Tiafoe and Muller be in for a repeat of their February face-off? My gut says, very possibly. Tiafoe, hailing from the land of stars and stripes, has already shown he has Muller's number by bagging a couple of wins against him. Being seeded 16th hasn't exactly won him applause standing in the shadow of the big guns, but hey, every dog has his day, right?
Muller on the other hand, the unseeded wonder from France, has had a roller-coaster ride recently. One day he's teaching Humbert and Goffin how it's done, the next he's tasting defeat from Zverev and Medvedev. It's like a tennis soap opera with this guy.
Tiafoe's sword hasn't exactly been sizzling either. Two recent losses, including one to Munar, don't really paint a picture of a knight in shining armor. But sometimes, it's about playing the man, not the game. And against Muller, Tiafoe definitely knows how to swing his racket.
Throwing all that into my insightful yet sarcastic predictor machine, I'm leaning towards a Tiafoe triumph. But given the love-hate relationship both players seem to have with their form, don't expect a smooth cruise.
