Korda in 3 sets.Here comes a clash of titans folks, down under at Melbourne Park. We've got the agile twenty-second seed, Sebastian Korda squaring off against the unseeded giant, Aleksandar Vukic.
So, Vukic's got eyes like a hawk and isn't green to shaking up the tennis world. The last time these dueling titans took up their rackets, our unseeded Goliath managed to take down Korda in a three-set heart-pounder.
But, that's history folks! Looking at more recent events, Korda's been in some rip-roaring form. He's got four smashes out of five recent matches under his belt, with his only loss coming from the nimble feet of Auger-Aliassime.
On the other side of the net, Vukic hasn't been as lucky. He's got quite the drag with three losses and only two wins. Seems like Vukic's hand could do with a bit of luck, might want to consider switching his racket hand, eh?
Taking a gander at the Melbourne Park courts, these hard surfaces are a bit of a runner with a high bounce and a lot of room for spin. This tends to favor those swift players, advantage to Korda perhaps?
Here's my two bob folks. Considering the tussling history, recent results, playing styles, our unseeded warrior is a bit of a punt while the favored Korda is looking strong as a mallee bull. Could be worth a flutter, but don't say I didn't warn you - the odds will tell the tale.
