Well, pull out your favorite pair of team-colored budgie smugglers because this promises to be an interesting clash. We're only in the fifth round of the season and already Richmond Tigers seem to be struggling to find their footing. Like a kangaroo on ice skates, they've had a slippery start with just a single win to their name.
Meanwhile, the Fremantle Dockers, despite currently sitting just outside the top ten, have been putting on a decent display of footy. Their track record against Richmond isn't too shabby either - they've pounded the Tigers almost as consistently as a jumpy wallaby on a caffeinated road-trip. No, their recent losses to Sydney and Geelong aren't exactly a sight for sore eyes, but I'd say they're doing better than Richmond who were served up a plate of humble pie by St Kilda and Port Adelaide recently.
Taking into account their past performances and the Dockers' ground advantage, it's not a wild leap of the imagination to predict that Fremantle are the favorites - just as much as drop bears love tourists.
The Tigers may very well bounce back with the feisty spirit of a Tasmanian devil; after all, that's the beauty of this great sport. But, unless they've secretly cloned a team of Dustin Martins, it's hard to see how they can quell the momentum of the Dockers at home. It seems as though the dice is heavily loaded in Fremantle's favor this time around.
Albert’s Prediction: Fremantle Dockers by 38
