My Prediction
Fremantle Dockers by 18
Playing the role of Nostradamus for a minute here, if we peer into the crystal ball of history, the Dockers appear to have left their mark on the Demons in past encounters. Also, let's just remember that Melbourne doesn't exactly have their fair share of victory dances this season, with a rather gloomy sounding 0-5. I mean, if they lined up their wins in a row, they could roller skate across them... if their skates could roll on thin air, that is.
The Dockers, however, are sitting rather snug with their 3 victories considering it's only round 6. Not the top of the pops but they’re making the cut, floating around the #8 spot in the AFL standings. They've had some commendable recent scores too, most notably their triumph over Richmond with a hefty 108 points, securing their place in this season's memory book.
The Demons, on the other hand, seem to have been consistently under the weather, those poor souls. Indeed, this trend doesn't seem to be reversing anytime soon, given the losses they've been racking up recently.
If one were to throw a dart in the dark of prediction, one would give weight to Fremantle's recent performance. Therefore, and now comes the moment of alleged clairvoyance:
