Svitolina in straight sets.Feast your eyes on this electrifying match-up at the Mutua Madrid Open: it’s Elina Svitolina against Maria Sakkari. They say luck is fortune's favorite child and Svitolina knows how to grab her by the hands. She has been on a winning streak, squashing her competition left and right. A clean slate of victories in her recent matches, like an artist that only paints winners.
On the other side of the net we have Sakkari, the rolling stone. Although she managed to fetch herself a few wins recently, her ball is being served with a bit of doubt. Who could forget those losses in early April against Zheng Q. and Bouzas Maneiro J.? Even if they have faded from Sakkari's memory, I'm sure they haven’t slipped snook past her opponents.
