It's her score to settle, and I reckon she'll leave Maria singing to a different tune this time around.In the sun-drenched expanses of Melbourne Park, we've got a delightful match-up on our hands. Let's talk Tatjana Maria and Clara Tauson making a run at glory on a hard surface court which, let's be real, adds just a dash of unpredictability to each player’s game.
Straight off the bat, or racquet if we're being tennis lingo purists, the similarities between these two jesters in our global tennis court are striking. Both are unseeded, which makes this match reminiscent of a rogue duel in medieval times. Just minus the dirt, horses, and, well, obvious lack of tennis.
The history books tell us it stands at a draw with each player clinching victory once in previous encounters. However, if we peel back the layers a tad, Tauson's triumph came fairly recently.
