Swiatek in straight sets.
If we're haggling over henhouse hierarchies, Iga Swiatek is definitely cock-a-doodle-dooing from the top perch in this match. As the 2nd seed, Swiatek's just been running farm-to-farm whilst Daria Kasatkina, the unseeded nitwit, is still busy counting her eggs before they're hatched.
Recent history flips Swiatek an unsavory pancake, having flunked a couple of sage tests against Gauff and Pegula. But then again, she gritted her teeth and her racket to croak Krejčíková and Samsonova neatly with no love games conceded.
All Kasatkina, on the other hand, has been doing lately is squeaking by, with her last three winning matches going to a third set. And even in victory, she fails to dazzle the spectators. Not exactly the kind of gal to bet your grandparents' inheritance on, eh?
It's as clear as the wake-up crow of the rooster, folks. If this were a mad hatter's tea party, Swiatek is the grinning Cheshire Cat ready to disappear and re-emerge with another win under her belt, whereas Kasatkina is just hoping not to be beheaded by an irate queen.
Albert’s Prediction: Swiatek in straight sets.
