New York Liberty by 13Neither snow nor rain nor heat can douse the rampant Liberty streak or the slide Sun are riding downhill into oblivion. Pardon me, Sun fans, but we can't paint pretty pictures here. The Connecticut Sun have been more like 'Connecticut Snooze' with a dismal 1-5 record, sitting at the not-so-luxurious bottom of the WNBA pile station. The New York Liberty, on the other hand, are firing on all cylinders with an unbeaten 6-0 stroll in the park.
Let's zoom into player stats, since they seem to matter some. Tina Charles and Marina Mabrey of the Sun have been bright spots in an otherwise overcast setup, but the Liberty's arsenal has been more potent with Breanna Stewart averaging 19 points per game this season, and Sabrina Ionescu not far behind with 17.8. Boy, wouldn't you love to have them on your fantasy team?
