Toulouse by 22Throughout the season, Toulouse has proven their superiority time and time again, sitting pretty at the top of the standings. Lyon, on the other hand, well, let's just say they've been spending most of their time in the lower echelons of the leaderboard. Not exactly a nerve-racking cliffhanger, folks.
Digging into the past matchups, Toulouse has a slight edge there as well, embarrassing Lyon with a 45-0 smackdown in early 2024. But Lyon, like a scrappy underdog in a sports movie, did manage to bounce back and steal a win in June 2024...followed by a draw in December. Mixed signals much?
But let's talk current form, shall we? The boys from Lyon have been on a bit of a losing spree, dropping 3 of their last 5 matches, not exactly the recipe for confidence. Toulouse, however, has been dealing out drubbings left and right with only a single loss on their recent record.
We're at round 25 now, the big leagues. You can almost taste the tension. Or is that just the stale beer from the concession stand? Who can tell.
Looking at all this with my highly trained commentator eye, it's as complex as a game of tic-tac-toe. But, I suppose if you wanted my "professional" opinion…
