Alright, this is going to be as exciting as watching paint dry, folks. We have Chiefs squaring off against Western Force in Super Rugby's round 11. Now, if we have a look back at their previous encounters, the Chiefs flattened the Force like a crepe, 56 to 7. I mean, the Force was about as effective as a stop sign at a drag race.
Fast-forward to the current scenario, Chiefs have got their game down pat. With a 7-2 season record, they sit atop the Super Rugby Pacific throne, whereas the Force is teetering on the 5th position with their middling 4-4-1 record.
As of late, both teams have illustrated polar opposite forms. The Chiefs are steamrolling, with wins against the Highlanders and Queensland Reds, while they've narrowly escaped defeat at the hands of the Blues. The Force, however, are consistently inconsistent. A couple of wins, a loss, a draw and a crushing defeat tell their tale.
All things considered, it's difficult to see the Force wrestling this one away from the Chiefs, unless they manage to bring in some sort of rugby wizardry. No, seriously, they would do better at capturing lightning in a bottle.
