My Prediction
Wests Tigers by 5Iseriously hope you've been keeping up with my dry humor throughout the season because it's not going to let up now. Can somebody tell me what's been going on with the Gold Coast Titans? They've had a run of losses that could make a grown man weep, and their season record looks like a cry for help. I wouldn't wish a 4-12 record on my worst enemy. The last time they faced the Wests Tigers, the Tigers licked their claws and walked away with an ever so fascinating 18-10 victory.
On the other side, we have the Wests Tigers, who aren't exactly burning up the scoreboard, mind you, but are scratching out wins here and there. They're not going to be spray painting 6-11 on the side of their charter plane, but it's enough to keep them level-headed, at least more than the Titans. The real stinger is that the last time these two clubs went paw-to-paw, Titans went home with their tail between their legs.
Hang on to your wallet and throw a prayer to the rugby gods because this one is looking like a Titanic mystery. Can the Titans pull an iceberg and freeze out the Tigers? Or will the Tigers devour the Titans like a buffet? If you're a betting person, the payout for the Titans would certainly be tempting if they can avoid another loss, but if you're sensible, you might want to stay on dry land with the rest of the Tigers after a glance at that regular season record and standing.
