New Zealand Warriors by 2
Aha, strap in because we’ve got the South Sydney Rabbitohs versus the New Zealand Warriors on the ticket. We might need a machete to slice through the tension this one's gonna bring, trust me.
Now listen, no one’s forgetting last year when the Rabbitohs got barbecued by the Warriors, but let's not let past humiliations define a team, I mean, come on. They did manage to return the flavor in June the previous year, giving the Warriors a taste of their own medicine.
This season though, it's looking like our friends down under are chugging that winning juice - 8 wins to date for the Warriors, outdoing the Rabbitohs' 6. But, boy oh boy, do the Rabbitohs have a habit of bouncing back. That's what rabbits do, don't they? Their bounce back recently against the Wests Tigers was something to behold. And the Warriors, despite losing their last match, have been showing a fine display of resilience.
We're knee-deep in the season, round 13, and both teams are comfortably nestled in the top eight, with the Warriors ahead at #3 and the Rabbitohs hopping on their heels at #6. But mind you, this ain't no tortoise and hare race, none of these teams are snoozing on the job.
When all is said and done, my two cents go to the New Zealand Warriors pulling ahead in this one. It's going to be a tight, sweaty squeeze, but I reckon the final point difference won't be anything to write home about. Brace yourselves folks, because it's gonna be a nail-biter.
