Yokohama DeNA BayStars by 2Looking at the match between Yokohama DeNA BayStars and Tokyo Yakult Swallows, it seems like we're in for a classic Nippon Professional Baseball clash. The BayStars have been having a fairly mediocre season, clocking in at 9-12, while the Swallows aren't too far off with an 8-11 record. And yet, don't you start feeling sorry for those Swallows, they have their moments.
Judging by the past matchups, it seems like it usually is a tough fight between these two. Our match today is anybody's game. Nevertheless, the BayStars have pulled ahead in 3 out of their last 5 encounters, which might make you put on your thinking cap.
Recently, the BayStars have been showing a bit better form, having won their last three games, while the Swallows fly back in, fresh from a victory, after having a bit of a patchy run. It's all really hinging on which direction the wind is blowing.
But I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say the BayStars, favored as they might be, have just a smidgen more spunk to eke out the victory here. And I mean a smidgen.
