Philadelphia Eagles by 4Alright, let’s have some fun looking at this ethereal football tango between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Commanders.
Running through the history of each team, it's visible that the Eagles have a slight edge. They've swept their three recent matchups against the Commanders suggesting they might very well know some secret chant or weather dance that gives them the upper hand.
Now, speaking of the season records, Eagles stand flaunting an impressive 12-2, whereas Commanders are stuck in the mud with a 9-5. No surprises, Eagles top the NFC East, while Commanders are grinding their heels at the second spot.
There are two, young QBs holding the reins this time around, folks. On the Eagles end, we've the nimble and accurate Jalen Hurts with an enviable passing efficiency and zero interceptions over the last month. Commanders have put their faith in Jayden Daniels who's produced commendable numbers as well, though he might want to work on minimizing those pesky interceptions.
The offensive rogues for the Eagles have been lighting it up recently. Saquon Barkley seems to be running as if he's late for a Thanksgiving dinner, and AJ Brown along with DeVonta Smith isn't slacking off either. On the other side, Washington is led by Terry McLaurin, who's had quite a ride pulling in a whopping 5 TDs. Brian Robinson has been respectable too, but needs to pick up his game.
Defensively, both teams seem to have quite the crew. The Eagles line is spearheaded by Nakobe Dean, Zack Baun, and Cooper DeJean; an impressive trifecta. The Washington clan on the other hand has to rely on Bobby Wagner and Mike Sainristil to disrupt the Eagles’ formation.
So, digesting all this information, I'd bet my lucky hat that we'll be hearing the Eagles’ victorious chirping at the end of the day.
