Right off the bat, the Viking's quarterback, Sam Darnold, has been solid over the last month, boasting a hefty 115.6 passing efficiency and an outstanding 10 to 1 touchdown to interception ratio. Meanwhile, Geno Smith over at the Seahawks camp has an efficiency lagging behind at 96. The backup, Sam Howell, is chilling with a distressingly low efficiency at 9.2. He probably has more in common with a baked potato than an NFL quarterback at this moment.
But let's not just talk about men throwing balls. On the offensive end, the Vikings have been graced with performances from Aaron Jones and Jordan Addison. Last month, Addison served up 411 yards and 4 touchdowns while Jones hit 347 yards and also tucked away 4 touchdowns. The team's third musketeer, Justin Jefferson, hasn't been slacking with 331 yards and 3 touchdowns. That's a whole lot of yards and touchdowns if you ask me.
Seattle has had to put their chips on Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Zach Charbonnet. Sure, they've punched some impressive numbers, but when compared to the Vikings' offensive beasts, they're just not cutting the mustard.
Shifting our focus to the defensive end, the Vikings are led by Josh Metellus with 34 tackles, Blake Cashman with 31, and Harrison Smith and Camryn Bynum both sharing third place with 26 each. That's a decently spread tally. SeaHawks linebacker Ernest Jones secured 35 tackles, but apart from him, the Seahawks seem to be straggling a bit.
Given all this data, considering the performances, and tossing in the standings, I'd bet my best socks that the Viking horde has what it takes to overrun Seattle. As for the margin, I’d say a bit more than a field goal.
