Alrighty then, let's put that Memphis Grizzlies and Cleveland Cavaliers mashup under the microscope. Shall we?
Let's start with the Grizzlies, shall we? Their golden boy, Desmond Bane has been posting a 20.1 points per game haul in the last month. Not too shabby, but Jaren Jackson Jr.'s not too far behind at 23.5 points. Now, if they're not duking it out in practice, I don't know what they're doing. We are still in the twilights when it comes to Santi Aldama and Zach Edey. They can't seem to get their numbers into the teens, but hey, maybe today's their day.
Turning our attention to Cleveland, we're looking at some formidable stats too. Donovan Mitchell sitting comfortably at 24.3 points per game and Darius Garland with a solid 20.2 points. Oh, did I mention Garland and Jarrett Allen are doubtful for today's game because of injury? Yeah, they probably should have ducked when they saw that basketball coming!
Digging into the archives, our history books show the Cavaliers have mostly had the upper hand in past match-ups, which adds some spice into the mix. The Cavaliers are pretty flush this season with a win-loss tally of 46-10 compared to Grizzlies' decent, but not unbeatable, 37-19. Recently, the Cavs have been on a roll. I mean, the victory over New York by 37 points? That's just cruel. And, each team is sitting pretty on top of their respective conferences.
This game is no easy pick by any means, but here we go...
