FC Dallas by 1Well, grab a cozy chair and put the popcorn in the microwave folks, we've got an interesting one today. It's FC Dallas facing off against Saint Louis City SC. The past meetings between these two have been split right down the middle, like a perfectly buttered baguette, with spoonfuls of wins, losses and draws on both sides.
Now, in the goalkeeping realm, Saint Louis City SC’s Roman Bürki has shown some finesse with 20 saves this season, but Dallas's Maarten Paes hasn't been slacking off either, with a 7.63 rating. It’s a nice little competition they’ve got going, one might say it’s a bit 'safe'...
Now, onto these fine athletes. Marcel Hartel and João Klauss from Saint Louis have been showing up with some solid performances, each netting 2 goals and an impressive pass accuracy. On the other end, we've got Luciano Acosta and Petar Musa for Dallas, keeping things spicy. Petar, the man must've had his Wheaties, slotted 2 goals with a 73.7% accurate pass percentage.
Looking over at the regular season records, it looks like a photo finish at the horse track with the teams neck and neck. Saint Louis City at 4-6-12 and Dallas at 5-6-10. Let's see who'll be the horse to bet on as these numbers keep rolling.
Now onto the recent games, it appears that FC Dallas has had a bit of a rough patch, giving their fans a performance similar to my last Thanksgiving dinner. Just when you think the turkey is going to be perfect, it comes out slightly dry. Saint Louis, however, managed to pull off a win against Portland Timbers. A bit of a silver lining in their storm cloud perhaps?
