Dynamo Moscow by 2Oh, I'm rubbing my hands together for this one. We're looking at a real throwdown between Sibir Novosibirsk and Dynamo Moscow. These cats have seen each other before and it's never been anything less than heated.
You know, it's funny how goalkeepers are doing these days. For both Sibir Novosibirsk, with Denis Kostin and Vladimir Tabatchikov, and Dynamo Moscow, featuring the services of Hunter Miska and Maxim Motorygin, we have zilch, nada, nothing as far as recent stats. Surprisingly, the puck has dodge them entirely. Go figure!
Let's slide over to the player's bench for a minute. Now, Sergei Shirokov and Vladislav Kara have somewhat been pulling their weight for Sibir Novosibirsk – otherwise they'd be having their breakfast in the stands. Same goes for Taylor Beck, who seems to have found his mojo recently. On the Dynamo end, bask in the glory of Nikita Gusev and Jordan Weal's performance, while Max Comtois isn't just there for clapping his teammates.
When it comes to old score settling, these teams have had quite a tussle in the past. They've each had their high and low moments with the most recent one ending in Dynamo's favor. Sibir might want to get their stuff together or they'll be having déjà vu nightmares tonight.
On regular season scratches, Dynamo Moscow's 16-11 record has a slight glare over Sibir's 10-14. And you just can't argue with numbers unless it’s tax season. Recently, Sibir has been doing as well as me on my diet – not that great. Dynamo, on the other hand, seems to be on a bit of a roll, just like my ex on Instagram – winning every time.
