KK Crvena zvezda by 2Ah, what a matchup we have here, friends – Anadolu Efes traveling to take on KK Crvena zvezda. Just what we need to chat about after missing grandma’s infamous goulash.
Looking at the heavy-hitters from each team, for Anadolu Efes, Elijah Bryant and Shane Larkin are the eye-catchers. Bryant's been pouring in 17.4 points per game in the last month, pretty impressive, if you ask me. Must have been eating his Wheaties. Not one to be ignored, Larkin has also had a commendable season, taking home 15 points per game over the last month.
Crvena zvezda, on the other hand, has two sharpshooters, too. Codi Miller-McIntyre packing a punch with 13 points per game in the last month, and Filip Petrušev maintaining a consistent score record with 9.3 ppg. Joel Bolomboy, too, has been a cool player in the mix, hoarding 12 rebounds a game over the past month.
The history between these two teams gives me indigestion. Anadolu Efes have won two out of three previous matchups, and they've all been high-scoring affairs. And speaking of splitting hairs, both teams have an identical regular season record of 18 wins to 14 losses.
As far as recent form goes, Efes having more to smile about; they're riding a 5-game win streak, while Crvena zvezda split their last four under their belt. However, Crvena zvezda are playing at home. Comfort of home dressing room and all that jazz, mhm?
So, who's gonna be the bridesmaid and who's gonna be the bride? Well, with all these factors circling around like that goulash in your stomach, I've got to go with the home team.
