My Prediction
Ottawa Redblacks by 3Ah, my dear intelligent people, let's lay our eyes on this heated Canadian Football match-up. It's the Toronto Argonauts riding into Ottawa's territory to take on the Redblacks.
From what I recall, and my memory is shaper than a beaver's incisors - their past clashes have been nothing but electric. Especially that recent encounter last November. The Argonauts (affectionately known as the 'Boatmen') sailed victorious with a dominating 58-38 triumph, leaving the Redblacks a bit red in the face, if you know what I am saying!
Rolling on to their season records this year, it's quite apparent both teams are suffering from some version of a sports malaise. Toronto's ship has been off course for the first three games, while Ottawa just managed to scrape a solitary victory in their last three sorties.
However, if we delve deep into the recent past, Ottawa seems to have picked up some steam, besting the stalwarts from Calgary on their own turf. The Argonauts, though, they're still tangled in their sea of woes with a strong losing streak.
Finally, taking a peek at the standings, it looks like the Redblacks are with a tad more cheer, perched at the 2nd spot, while our good Argonauts are just shy of the caboose in the East Division.
So, considering their past games, recent momentum, and horse-shoe shaped stadium, it appears that the Redblacks have an edge in this encounter. I'd wager, and remember that it always pays to keep an eye on the wagering, that the Redblacks look set to disrupt the Argonauts' navigation for at least another week.
The best part, you ask? Well, after this, if anyone asks you to predict a CFL game, you can reply with an air of nonchalance, "Oh, that? It's like shooting fish in a barrel."
